This workshop took place on Friday 18 March at The Monastery, Gorton.

The event was jointly hosted by the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration Greater Manchester (ARC-GM) and NIHR Greater Manchester Patient Safety Translational Research Centre (GM PSTRC).

Through discussion, researchers joined Public and Patient Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) representatives and people working in the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector to identify the areas of patient safety that are in most need of improvement.

As a result, an agenda will be created with the aim of making a meaningful difference to the quality and safety of healthcare.
